Manually crafted Value Lists

These are created manually, by entering the items in the list editor in the lower part of the window.

Order
The order of the Value List items determines the order in which the items are shown by the pop-up list with the first item being the default selection. You may rearrange the existing order of the items: hold down the Control key, mouse-drag a List item up or down the list, and drop into the desired slot.

To add a new Value List

• press the New button;
• type the name of the Value List into the Name field;
• select the first cell in the List items -Item area and type the name of the item;
• type the next item(s);
• press the Save button.

To edit an existing Value List

• select the desired Value List name;
• to change or delete an item, select the appropriate List item:
  • to change the selected item, retype in whole or in part,
  • to delete the selected item, select the Edit > Delete item menu item;
• to add a new item, select an existing item above which you wish to make the insert, then select the Edit > Insert item menu item and type the text of the new item;
• press the Save button.
