Use of a Grid is optional with Procedures.
When the grid is shown, the procedure Components may be forced to align along the grid positions (menu option Format > Grid > Snap to Grid); alternatively, the grid can be used simply as a reference, while allowing the Components to be freely positioned in the Workspace.
As a visual convenience, the Grid Inspector also provides control over the color of the grid and the Workspace background.
